1) Min. 3.0/4.0 GPA; 2) Must be enrolled in a San Diego or Imperial County, California school system; 3) Must have a parent or legal guardian who is a member in good standing of any local labor union; 4) Must plan to attend a college, university or vocational/technical school; 5) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 6) Verification of parent(s)/guardian(s) good standing in union required; 7) Transcript(s) required; 8) Grading scale required; 9) Scholarship payable as follows: One (1) four (4) year college scholarship for a max. amount of $5,500.00 will be awarded. The initial year amount is $2,500.00 for the next school year beginning in September. Continued scholarship assistance in the amount of $1,000.00 per academic year for a max. of up to three (3) additional academic years if recipient continues to meet scholarship standards.
