1) Min. 3.0 GPA; 2) Must self-identify as a “student of color;” 3) Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; 4) Must have secured an on-site Journalism internship in Washington, D.C.; 5) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 6) Resume required; 7) Transcript(s) required; 8) Unofficial transcript(s) accepted; 9) Scholarship awarded as follows: Recipients will receive a stipend of $1,000.00 per month and free housing provided through Washington Intern Student Housing (WISH) for the duration of the student’s internship, usually four (4) months. WISH housing is valued at $6,000.00 per semester.NOTE:
