Additional Requirements and Information:

1) Min. 3.0 GPA (high school senior); 2) Min. 2.5 GPA (transfer/current undergraduates); 3) Must reside in a county within the Priddy Foundation servicing area, which includes the following North Texas areas: Archer, Baylor, Childress, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Haskell, Jack, King, Knox, Montague, Stonewall, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger, Wise, and Young, Texas; 4) Must be a “first-generation college student.” A student is considered first generation if neither parent (or guardian) graduated with a four (4)year college degree; 5) Demonstrated financial need; 6) Must be from a family with an adjusted gross income of $50,000.00 to $125,000.00; 7) FAFSA required; 8) Scholarship award payable as follows: Full-tuition and residential funding for up to four (4) academic years; 9) Renewable for up to three (3) additional academic years.

NOTE:

O Grants for the 2017-18 year will be awarded to ten (10) entering freshmen, ten (10) sophomores and ten (10) juniors.

O Starting with the Fall 2018, the Priddy Foundation Scholars program will expand to include ten (10) additional incoming freshmen.

O 2017 is the inaugural year for this scholarship award.
