Additional Requirements and Information:
1)  Min. 3.0 GPA; 2) Must be a Navajo student in good standing; 3) Must reside within the following communities or Navajo chapters: City of Page or Tuba City, Bodaway/Gap, Cameron, Chilchinbeto, Coalmine, Coppermine, Dennehotso, Inscription House, Kaibeto, Kayenta, LeChee, Navajo Mountain, Oljato, Shonto, or Tonalea Chapters; 4) Financial need required; 5) Must plan to enroll in an extracurricular program; 6) Program must be associated with an educational institution/vendor or nonprofit organization; 7) Copy of Certificate of Indian Blood required; 8) Letter of recommendation must be from a teacher, guidance counselor, employer, coach, mentor, or supervisor; 9) Personal statement required.
NOTE:
  • Application must be received at least thirty (30)  business days prior to program start date or fund deadline.
  • This program does not support athletic programs.
