Additional Requirements and Information:

1)  Must be a resident of Sarasota or Manatee counties; 2) Must be under the age of twenty-two (22) as of August 1 of  application year; 3) Must be enrolled/enrolling in an accredited college or university; 4) Must be planning to pursue a degree in the field of Education; 5) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities, particularly as it relates to the LGBTQ+ community; 6) Resume (typed) required; 7) Personal statement required; 8) Transcript(s) required.

NOTE:  This scholarship is open to all applicants regardless of immigration status.
