1) Min. 3.0 GPA; 2) Must be African-American, Asian-American, Native-American, and/or Hispanic; 3) Must be a Maryland resident; 4) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 5) Must have a proven record of commitment to preserving the Chesapeake Bay and, as a minority student, has a demonstrated commitment to the principles of diversity, both within the local school community, and the larger community as well; 6) Must have organized and/or developed a program designed to engage community in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed preservation efforts.
