Additional Requirements and Information:

1)  Min. 3.0/4.0 GPA; 2) Must be a resident of Connecticut, Idaho, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia or Wyoming; 3) Must self-identify as Black/African American; Hispanic or Latino; America Indian or Alaska Native; Asian; or Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander; 4) Must plan to attend an accredited college, university or vocational school; 5) Financial need considered;* 6) Copy of the first two (2) pages of the most recently filed IRS Form 1040 required; 7) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 8) Transcript(s) required; 9) Scholarship awarded as follows: Twenty (20) awards of $5,000.00 will be granted to students pursuing two (2) year programs and forty (40) awards of $10,000.00 will be granted to students pursuing four (4) year degrees; 10) Renewable for up to three (3) additional academic years (4 total or a Bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first) (provided recipient maintains a min. 2.5/4.0 GPA, continues as a full-time student, remains enrolled in the Dominion Energy program and remains otherwise qualified).

NOTE:

• Eighty (80)% of scholarships will be awarded on a combination of need and merit with the remaining twenty (20)% awarded on the basis of merit.

• One (1)  online recommendation form must be submitted NLT January 28, 2022, 3:00 pm Central Time.

• Recipients notified May 2022.

• Payments disbursed NLT August 2022.
