Georgia Driver’s Education Grant Scholarship

Effective March 1, 2017, the Georgia Driver’s Education Commission launched a program to permit Georgia teens to apply for scholarships related to driver education training! Georgia teens between the ages of 15-17, currently in school and who have obtained a valid Georgia instructional driving permit, can now apply for a Georgia Driver’s Education Grant Scholarship! Under the Georgia Driver’s Education Grant Scholarship Program, students are able to obtain scholarship grants to help them meet requisite drivers education requirements.

In accordance with Georgia law, students must complete a driver’s education course in which they obtain at least thirty (30) hours of classroom training, plus six (6) hours of training behind the wheel, along with forty (40) hours of required supervised driving with a parent or guardian. The Georgia Driver’s Education Grant Scholarship is designed to assist teens to comply with these requirements!  For more information and/or specific requirements, check HERE!
