1) Min. 3.2/4.0 GPA; 2) Must be enrolled/enrolling in an accredited college or university located within twenty-five (25) miles of the White House, specifically, one (1) of the following:
American University
Bowie State University
Catholic University
Gallaudet University
George Mason University
George Washington University
Georgetown University
Howard University
Marymount University
Trinity Washington University
University of the District of Columbia
University of Maryland
3) Qualifying college or university must offer an Accounting degree that qualifies graduates to sit for the CPA exam; 4) Must be an Accounting major; 5) Must have successfully completed at least nine (9) academic credit hours in Accounting; 6) Must be a rising undergraduate senior to be considered for undergraduate awards; 7) May be entering an Accounting-related graduate program to be considered for a graduate award; 8) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 9) Resume required; 10) At least one (1) letter of recommendation must be from a faculty member at applicant’s college or university; 11) Financial need statement (if applicant wishes to be considered based upon financial need.
