1) Must be between the ages of 13 – 19; 2) Must reside within the U.S.; 3) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 4) Must be engaged in a project that embodies the value of ‘tikkun olam,’ or, “repairing the world.”

NOTE:

• Must be nominated or may self- nominate. Deadline for nomination is December 18, 2017. Deadline for application submission is January 8, 2018.

• Nominators may be any individual who knows sponsored teenager and is not a family member of the nominee.

• Nominations count as recommendations. Nominated teens need only submit two (2) letters of recommendation.

• Teens who have had a sibling receive a Tikkun Olam Award within the past five (5) years are not eligible to be considered for this scholarship award.
