1) Must be an undergraduate sophomore, junior, senior or recent college graduate; 2) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 3) Resume or Curriculum Vitae required; 4) Personal statement required; 5) Transcript(s) required; 6) Unofficial transcript(s) accepted; 7) $40.00 application fee required; 8) Fellowship awarded as follows: HIA covers the costs of participation and accommodation during the fellowship programs. Although HIA provides a modest stipend for meals, Fellows should also plan to bring spending money of approximately $750.00 for food and social activities during the fellowship program.

NOTE:

• 2017 Program dates are July 5 – July 30, 2017.

• Applicants of minority backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Fellows will be responsible for financing the cost of round-trip airfare to and from Atlanta, Georgia.
