Additional Requirements and Information:
1) Min. 3.0 GPA; 2) Must have at least one (1) parent of Hispanic heritage; 3) Must be younger than twenty-one (21) years of age; 4) Must plan to attend a college or university upon graduation; 5) FAFSA or IRS Form 1040 required; 6) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 7) List of community service projects required; 8) Personal statement required; 9) Transcript(s) required; 10) Unofficial transcript(s) accepted.
NOTE:
  • As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, McDonalds will be awarding one-hundred (100) additional scholarships from the pool of applicants who applied for the HACER Scholarship and will be enrolled for the Spring 2021 academic semester.  No additional application required.
  • As with the HACER Scholarship, applicants MUST be from a family that came from at least one (1) of these countries/territories: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Spain, Uruguay, or Venezuela.
