1) Must be between the ages of 13-18; 2) Essay, 300 – 500 words, demonstrating applicant’s knowledge of Black History, required; 3) Scholarships awarded as follows:

1st Place: $10,000.00 (College Savings gift card to be used with any 529 College Savings Plan)

2nd Place: $6,000.00 (College Savings gift card to be used with any 529 College Savings Plan)

3rd Place: $4,000.00  (College Savings gift card to be used with any 529 College Savings Plan)

NOTE:

• Applicants are required to view four (4) lessons (approx. 30 mins) on Black History and submit an essay.
