Additional Requirements and Information:

1)  Min. 3.0 GPA; 2) Must be a Mississippi resident; 3) Must be enrolled/enrolling in an accredited Associate, Baccalaureate, Masters or Doctoral Nursing Program in Mississippi; 4) Must hold a current, unrestricted Mississippi RN license (applies to licensed RNs only); 5) Must have a nursing license plate on personal vehicle at the time of application and maintain during receipt of funding; 6) Copy of current Mississippi nursing license required (applies to licensed RNs only); 7) Transcript(s) must be sealed; 8) Previous recipients cannot have received the award within the last five (5) years.

NOTE: 

o  Recipients selected NLT July 13, 2020.

o  Recipients must sign a contract with the MNF to work in Mississippi within the first two (2) years following completion of the program. If contract is broken, funds must be repaid, plus interest.
