1) Min. 3.5 GPA; 2) Must be enrolled/enrolling in a National Association of African-American Honors Programs (NAAAHP) institution; 3) Must be financially active within applicant’s Honors College/Programs (e.g., dues paid); 4) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities, particularly as it relates to applicant’s role within their Honors program during the academic school year; 5) Resume required; 6) Letters of recommendation must include endorsements from an Honors director, Honors faculty, and community service supervisor; 7) Proof of enrollment required; 8) Personal statement required.NOTE: Honors directors of each active NAAAHP institution are allowed to submit one (1) active student nominee for the award. |
