Additional Requirements and Information:

1)  Min. 3.0 GPA; 2) Must plan to pursue a degree leading to a career in Journalism; 3) Demonstrated financial need; 4) FAFSA required; 5) No more than five (5) original work samples demonstrating an ongoing interest in Journalism through work on a high school newspaper or other media; 6) College or university acceptance letter required; 7) Transcript(s) required; 8) Scholarship award payable in the following installments: The scholarship consists of a $2,000.00 one (1) year scholarship, which can be renewed for up to three (3) additional academic years at $2,500.00 per academic year. The first year scholarship payment includes an additional $500.00 book stipend to be called the Ellen Masin Persina Scholarship. The Persina Scholarship will be awarded to the recipient of the NPC Scholarship, making the total amount of the first year award $2,500.00.
