Additional Requirements and Information:

1)  Min. 2.5 GPA; 2) Must be enrolled at one of the following qualifying North Carolina Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)/Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) colleges and universities OR be a confirmed graduating senior at one of the following qualifying North Carolina HBCUs/MSIs colleges and universities pursuing a Master level degree at one of the following accredited North Carolina HBCUs/MSIs:

Qualifying North Carolina HBCUs:

Bennett College, Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, Johnson C. Smith University, Livingstone College, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University, St. Augustine’s University, Shaw University, Winston-Salem State University

Qualifying North Carolina MSI:

UNC-Pembroke

3) Must be pursuing a degree in a Transportation-related discipline; 4) Must plan to enter the Transportation profession; 5) Statement of financial need required; 6) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 7) Resume required; 8) Transcript(s) required; 9) Unofficial transcript(s) accepted.
