1) Min. 2.5/4.0 GPA; 2) Must reside in one of the following Nebraska counties: Pottawattamie, Sarpy, Douglas, Cass, or Lancaster; 3) Must plan to enroll in an accredited post-secondary educational institution; 4) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 5) Letter of support from current supervising principal, coach or guidance counselor required; 6) Statement of how and why sports have been important in applicant’s life required; 7) Essay answering the question: “Which athlete has inspired you and why,” with examples included, required; 8) Transcript(s) required.
