Additional Requirements and Information:

1) Must be a between the ages of 15-25; 2) Must be enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university; 3) Video, 25-55 seconds long, about the dangers of texting and driving, required; 4) Scholarships awarded as follows:

1st Place: $5,000.00
2nd Place: $2,000.00
3rd Place: $1,000.00

NOTE:

o NO entry will be accepted with footage of a person ACTUALLY texting while driving!

o Primary entrants for the video contest must be a registered member of YouTube in order to submit an entry.

o Contest judges want applicants to address what motivates people to think they can safely text and drive.

o All persons (even animated characters or objects) must wear seat belts.

o If filming from a smart phone, shoot footage horizontally.

o Teams of up to four (4) students permitted.

o Recipients notified NLT June 2018.
