Additional Requirements and Information:

1) May be a spouse, parent, stepparent, sibling, step-sibling, fiancé, child, stepchild, or friend of a service member or veteran who became wounded, injured, or ill in the line-of-duty after September 11, 2001; 2) Must serve as a caregiver, either as a VA-designated caregiver or a DoD-designated non-medical attendant (NMA), to a qualifying service member or veteran; 3) Must be enrolled/enrolling, if selected, in a degree or certificate program at the University of Maryland Global College (UMGC) with a min. of six (6) academic credits per term for undergraduate students or three (3) academic credits per term for graduate students during the Fall and Spring terms; 4) Demonstrated financial need; 5)  FAFSA required; 6) Proof of caregiver role required.
