1) At least one (1) parent must be of Hispanic ancestry; 2) Must be enrolled/enrolling in an accredited U.S. college or university; 3) Demonstrated financial need; 4) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 4) Resume required; 5) Transcript(s) required; 6) Unofficial transcript(s) accepted; 7) Scholarship awarded as follows: Recipients will receive two (2) non-renewable scholarships – a conference scholarship to attend the 37th USHLI National Conference and an academic scholarship ($1,000.00 for a 4 year institution or $500.00 for a 2 year institution).
