1) Significant work experience (typically 3-5 years or more) required; 2) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 3) Transcript(s) required; 4) Unofficial transcript(s) accepted; 5) Scholarship awarded as follows: The scholarship covers tuition and expenses and provides a monthly living stipend, funding for books and course materials, and opportunities to experience unique out-of-the-classroom programming. Any travel costs for these experiences will also be fully covered.

NOTE:

o Obama Foundation Scholars earn a Master of Arts in International Development and Policy (MA-IDP) at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.

o Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores are required for international students.
