Virginia Private College Week Is Here!

Beginning Monday, July 24, 2017 through Saturday, July 29, 2017,  the annual Virginia Private College Week takes place! During this week, students are given a fabulous opportunity to learn all about Virginia’s private colleges and universities.  This event, sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia, offers special tours, as well as admissions and financial aid events for students considering attending college in Virginia.  By visiting participating colleges and universities, students get an opportunity to learn, first-hand, about prospective Virginia colleges and universities.  Even better??! Students visiting three (3) participating schools will receive THREE (3) fee waivers (for future applications for admission) to ANY of the participating colleges or universities (whether or not they visited the particular schools during Virginia Private College Week)! Visiting three (3) participating colleges or universities will save you well over $100.00 easily (we did a quick application fees calculation of participation schools)!  Some of the participating colleges include, Hampton University, The University of Richmond, Sweet Briar College, Virginia Union University, Shenandoah University, Roanoke University, Randolph Macon College, and Washington and Lee University!  Throughout the week, most schools offers sessions daily from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.!
