Additional Requirements and Information:
1) Min. 2.0 GPA (but not higher than a 3.0/4.0 GPA); 2) Must reside or be a permanent resident of Washington, D.C.;  3) Must plan to attend a UNCF-member institution or accredited four (4) year Historically Black College or University (HBCU) upon graduation;  4) Priority consideration given to graduates of D.C. Public Schools (DCPS); 5) Demonstrated financial need; 6) FAFSA required; 7) Demonstrated participation in extracurricular and community service activities; 8) Qualifying college or university acceptance letter optional; 9) Scholarship award payable in the following installments:  Up to $4,000.00 per academic year for up to five (5) academic years.
NOTE:  UNCF will notify recipients and disburse scholarship funds to the recipients’ institutions within 6 to 8 weeks after the application due date.
